Bridget Roberts


Bridget Roberts, IRS, currently serves as the Deputy National Taxpayer Advocate.  She has been with the Taxpayer Advocate Service for 14 years, during which she has held a number of positions throughout the organization.  She joined TAS in 2004 as an Attorney Advisor, focusing on issues such as taxpayer service, the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and financial literacy.  Bridget spent two years on special assignment to the Senate Finance Committee where she helped lead the tax staff’s efforts on the Affordable Care Act, employee benefits and executive compensation.  More recently, she has served as the Deputy Executive Director of Systemic Advocacy, the Deputy Executive Director of Case Advocacy, and Senior Operations Executive to the DNTA.  She received her J.D. from Villanova University in 2003 and her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 2008.
