HARRIS L. BONNETTE, JR. is a shareholder in the law firm of Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball in Jacksonville, Florida.  He graduated from the University of Florida (B.S.), University of Miami (J.D.), and Washington University in St. Louis (LL.M. in Taxation). 

Harris is Board Certified in Tax and currently serves as the Secretary of the Tax Section of The Florida Bar.  He authored the article:  The IRS Will Absolutely, Positively Not Pay Your Attorneys’ Fees (Or Will They?), The Florida Bar Journal (May, 2010). 

He was an attorney with the IRS’s Chief Counsel’s Office from 1990 to 1995, first in Austin, Texas and then in Jacksonville, Florida.
