Pierre joined PFM in 2018 as Director after nine years running HFA Partners, an Independent Registered Municipal Advisory firm (“IRMA”) he founded to serve not-for-profit hospitals and health systems around the nation.
Previously, he worked nineteen years in the healthcare investment banking and financial consulting industry with firms including First Boston, Alex Brown & Sons, Deloitte, and B.C. Ziegler.
In his career, Pierre has provided municipal advisory services to a wide spectrum of not-for-profit hospital clients ranging from standalone providers to multi-state health systems.
Pierre’s prior experience includes capital formation and debt management, bond underwriting, bank debt, interest rate swaps, lease financing, business valuation, joint ventures and alliances, feasibility studies, debt capacity analyses, and sell-side merger and acquisition and due diligence.
Pierre has authored over 150 articles on healthcare finance and the hospital bond markets.
