A-LIGN’s founder and Chief Executive Officer Scott Price has provided clients with
security, assurance and compliance solutions for over 20 years. In this time, he has
completed over 2,000 SAS 70/SOC 1/SOC 2 audits and has supported multiple Global
1000, Fortune 500, and regional companies.
Following his role as a Big 4 executive early in his professional career, Scott served as
co-founder and President of SAS 70 Solutions – the first-ever CPA firm to specialize in
SAS 70 audits. In 2009, Scott started A-LIGN to offer cost-effective compliance solutions
to clients across the globe. His professional designations and extensive experience
contribute to A-LIGN’s call which can be summed up in one word: Dedication.
In 2016, Scott was selected to Accounting Today’s Managing Partner Elite. The Managing
Partner Elite program highlights the leaders of accounting firms who stand out from their
peers due to their ability to guide their firms through innovation, development of strong
culture and continued focus on growth. Additionally, Scott was nominated as an Ernst &
Young Entrepreneur of the Year Florida award finalist for 2021.
What do the right thing, always means to Scott: Scott strives to advance the fields of
accounting and auditing, and invests time in sharing risk advisory knowledge with state
and national organizations. He has served as Chair of the Board of Governors of the
Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is an elected state representative of
the AICPA Council. In addition, Scott was appointed as an educator for the AICPA’s SOC

School – in this role, he builds curriculum and instructs practitioners how to provide top-
tier services related to SOC engagements
